1. Can I send a birthday treat?
Yes. We celebrate the birthdays of all students. If your child has a birthday in the summer, we will celebrate their half birthday. (Students with a July birthday will celebrate on their birthdate in January).
Birthday treats are enjoyed at lunch. It is helpful if the treats are individually wrapped or packaged to assist in quickly passing them out. Please be sure to send 1 treat for each student in the room.
2. How do students take AR quizzes at home?
Students are not able to take quizzes at home, but can read at home and take the quiz at school!
3. What are "brain breaks"?
Teachers use a website called Go Noodle to give students "brain breaks" throughout the day. There are different types of breaks built into the website. Some are used to calm the classroom, while others are used to energize it.
